Fogg, Hlaiut two miles south of this village on the road to Hethel, was totally destroyed bv lire at about o'clock Monday morn ing, together with a largo amount of hay, farming tools and 1H head of cattle. Mr. l-'ogg was up early mid at the home of a ii k neighbor doing his work w hen he looked out to see his larn all on lire, llu had not time to reach home before the lire gained such headway that the cattle could not be taken out. Mr. Fogg came to this town about one year ago front the northern part of the state and purchased this farm of Mr. Allis and since that time has lived there. The in surance on the whole property, barn and stock, was !?J.:aH, and the loss at pres ent has not been estimated. The cause of the lire is unknown. The loss falls heavily on the owner, who hag a large family, and at thin Mason it is especially unfortunate. Mrs. K. M. Witrdner returned on Mon day from I-'armington, X.
