Warsaw, May 20 (By the Associated
Press). Information indicating that
some elements in Germany are deter
mined to help the Russian bolsheviki
continues to be received here, it is said
in military circles. The latest report
is regarding Upper Silesia, where Ger
man armed forces have been assembling
on the border of the plebiscite area.
Newspapers here to-day published des
patches stating that '4,000 security
guards had arrived in Upper Silesia by
special train.
For weeks, it is declared, Germans
have been hauling ammunition into
Silesia, hiding it beneath beets in rail
road cars. Military authorities say the
Germans are advertising their troop
movements in this region for the pur
pose of compelling the Poles to trans
fer forces from the east and thus
weaken the bolshevik front.
Warsaw papers recently printed re
ports that eight Zeppelins had crossed
Poland headed eastward, and army
headquarters afterwards confirmed this
information. There is much speculation
as to whether the Zeppelins bore officers
en route to join the bolsheviki or were
carrying away men named for extra
dition by the allies.
General Alexis A. Brusiloff, former
commander-in-chief of Russian armies,
is understood to have assumed command
of the bolshevik ofl'ensive against Po
land. In Polish military circles they
. . , r r .... J a.
say the soviet attacK is nesignea ia
overrun Lithuania and extend the
bolshevik front westward to East
Prussia.
Military authorities here declare vast
stores of munitions and supplies have
arrived in Kast Prussia in anticipation
of a break in the Polish front before
the bolshevik offensive.
Fighting continues along the north
ern sectors of the front, but all soviet
attacks have been repulsed aolng the
upper branches of the Derensina river,
according to announcement.

near Longwood, County Meath, and
stealing from it a quantity of valu

How You Can Make Your
Clothes Last
onger
You don't want to have to buy any more clothes than you have to; so we don't want to
sell you any more than you positively need; clothes cost too much money; don't be
reckless with them. Take care of them.
Get good ones; the all-wool kind. They wear longer. Then hang them up at night;
have them pressed often; cleaned when they need it. Alternate your suits; give them
a rest. .
Do those things; your clothes will last longer; you'll save money.
When you do Eeed a new suit, don't forget that this is the Barre home of the famous
Hart Schaffner & Marx clothes.
