Castle HEADQUARTERS IRISH ADMINISTRATION The Raid Was Carried Out in Dublin Early This Morning Dublin, July 15. Fifty men raided the general postoffice here thii morn ing and carried off all letters directed to Dublin Castle, the vice-regal lodge, the chief secretary and undersecretary of the Irish administration. Pittsfield, Mass., July 13. Helen . Larkin, 14, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Clarence Larkin, was drowned yester day afternoon in Madison pond while endeavoring to rescue Mary Palasco, seven rears old. The latter was on a plank and had floated out into deep water when she called for assistance. The Larkin gtrl ' was swimming to the assistance of the Palasco child when she sank. The body was found in eight feet of waier. The . Palasco girl was saved by a boy. The body of an unidentified man was found 'in the East branch of the Housatonic river yesterday. The speediest and strongest of the coun try's amateur athletes, champions of the world, of the country and of the colleges, gathered here to-day for the two-day meeting, which begins to-morrow, to decide the national title hold ers for this year and to organize Amer ica's athletic .forces for the Olympic games.
