A motorcycle accident occurred on Tuesday afternoon on the Barnard road when Henry Blanchard and Philip Lussier as' pussenger were going to spend the night at Silver Lake park, where they have taken a cottage with their families for two weeks. The ac cident was caused by a dog. which ran in front of the motorcycle and was hit by it. The men were thrown off and were bruised quite badly. Mr. Blanch ard was. able later to proceed to Bar nard, but Mr. Lussier was brought home to Woodstock and will be laid up for several days. His head, face and mouth were bruised and eut, and his neck and ankles badly wrenched. It was a wonder both were not killed. T. P. LaKounlain and family were recent guests of his brother in Ama-dem.
