HEWITT BACK IN GAME ENCOURAGES NORWICH Star Halfback Has Been Out of tie Game Much of the Season. Northfleld, Nov. 10. "Bill" DeWitt, Norwich halfback, who has been out the greater part of the season with in juries, -will probably be able to play in the Vermont game in Burlington to-morrow. The Norwich veterans had been unable to get into real scrim mage after the Middlebury game which aggravated the injury he re- ceiveq in the nrst game of the year with Dartmouth, and Coach Potter had given up hope of getting the big baric into to-morrows tussle. DeWitt was in uniform again yes terday, however, and again to-day, Playing halfback he showed the abili ty that has been held under by his in jury this season. His work has given Loach Potter and his assistants new hope. Bradley, shifted to halfback from quarter last Saturday after playing two seasons in the latter position, at the new post this week ha been dis playing that same power to carrv the pigskin for gains that set him apart as the best man in the Norwich back field in the Clarkson game. His Dlace at ntiarter has been filled by Keller, diminutive sub, who suf fered a broken collarbone early in the season and was out of play until two weeks ago. Kelley has shown that he is well able to direct the Norwich attack. - "Jim" Walsh continues at his fullback berth. Coach Potter feels that this quartet will go strong against Keady's men. For the fourth time this sesson Coach Potter has shoved a new man into right end, a position that was first filled by Mulkeen, then by Hope, then by Leahey, and again by Hope, who has now been forced to yield the lace to reck, a freshman husky, who as played center and halfback at various times. Minted to end, reek has been doing good work this week. He is likely to start against Vermont. The rest of the line will be' un changed. Rosenthal will be at left end, Afhton will be at left tackle, Leshey at left guard, Radigan in center, Dres ser at riirht guard, and Captain Walk er at right tackle.
