The Body of Wm. Kbnerta Found
Near Mwannanoa Tunnel.
I ne workmen wno were engaged in
clearing up the debris of the wrecked
freight train near Swunnauoa tunnel,
yesterday afternoon, louud the body of a
man among the cotton hales. The head
is said to have liecn liadlv mashed hv
two of the bales.
The body was that of a man apparent
ly 23 years of age, nnd was neatly
dressed. In the pockets of the clothing
were found 30 cents in nioiiev. an em
ploye's pass over the Cincinnati Soul hern
railway and meal check lor an Onkdnlc
Junction ( Tenn. I eating house. The puss
indicated that he was a brnkeman on the
Cincinnati Southern and that his name
was William LbU-rts. The body was
tuken in charge by the work men and was
turned over to the authorities of Mc
Dowell county at Marion. The latter
