The first storm wave of Novem ber will be due to leave the Pacific coast about October 30, cross the .-great interior valleys from October 81 to November 2. and reach the Atlantic coast about the 3d. A cold wave, severe xor tne time of year, may be expected to appear in the northwest, following mis storm center, and cause fiosts in all the northern and most of the south ern states, closing the cotton growing season by November 5.
