Cleveland, O., May 15 Special Telegram to The Globe. The consen sus of opinion is that the conference be tween miners and mine operators will be fruitless. No satisfactory result will be j accomplished. Only operators in certain districts are represented, while the min ers say they will not resume work any where until their demands are granted in every section. The '.attendance of miners' delegates is large, but not many of the coal oper ators are either present or represented. This seem9 like a neglect of the conven on their part, and the miners are likely to resent it. No solution of the problem will grow out of the conference, and meanwhile the coal business of the whole country is at a standstill. Unless the operators come to some terms at the conference, 1500 more miners in Bellaire district will go out at once.
