C., norse show. Missionary Meeting At White Memorial The Woman's Missionary Society of White Memorial Methodist church met with Mrs. C. S. Catlett last Fri day evening. After the open.’ng song, the Scrip ture lesson was read by Mrs. Gordon Allen, and was followed by sentence prayers. The topic for discussion was “The Home." Mrs. Henry Tucker intro duced the subject in a very inspiring manner and gave her views of an ideal home. The problems discussed included, i “Our Responsibilities as Parents.” "The Adolescence Age” and “The Duty of Children Toward Parent*.” - The social service reports were given and several business matters were discussed, after which the meet-1 ing was closed with prayer and all i enjoyed the refreshments served by the hostess. -Reported. The juniors of Zeb Vance high school entertained the sCniore at a banquet, on last Friday evening. The banquet halt wa» elaborately decorated In evergreens, including pines, ivy, and running cedar, and early spring flowers, with the color scheme of pink and green predominat ing. The chandeliers, of pink green with crepe streamers, added much to the attractiveness of the hall. The eleven tables were covered, with pink and gren covers, alternately, and lace doillek and miniature shaded lamps formed the centerpieces. Pink and green baskets filled with mints, were used as place cards. The favors were pink and green poppers, each of these contained a surprise and a for tune.
