PAGE TWO Five Clubs Ready To Enter Proposed City League Meeting Tuesday Evening To Draw Up League Plans Any Other Clubs Wishing; To Enter Are Asked To Let It Be Known ____ With five ba»ebaM clubs already sig nifying their tutuUions of entering a «*»y baseball league, there is room for only three more clubs if an eight club leagus is formed, and if this Is to be only a -on club loop, only' one more berth is open It is thought that it mgy be possible to accommodate as m»ay clubs as would like to enter by dividing the league into two divisions. In this instance, twelve or sixteen eluba could be but it la thought that not that many clubs codtd be organized successfully. It is hoped that enough interest i ran be shown to form an eight club | loop with each club playing at one game a week, the percentage is | to be kept in the Daily Dispatch, to gether with accounts of each game plaved, if possible. It is hoped that if there are any I other clubs that wish to enter, they ’ will make their intentions known as soon as they possibly can, so the | complete organization of the jeague ; can get under way. A meeting is to be had on Tuesday [ night in the Chamber of Commerce; rooms at 8 o'clock to complete ar rangements for this small city loop, \ and at the same time it is thought that it will be possible to work out f some kind of an organization to govern tke play of the teams and to i work out a satisfactory agreement with all clubs that are entered as to | what days it would suit them best to ! have their games. All members of 1 theee clubs that can attend such a 1 meeting, are asked to be present on j Tuesday night and to air their views, I offer suggestions or anything that j they think will help carry the plan * through. It will not be necessary to any on that night just whether a club' will enter or not, since ample time j not been given fbr the organization i of the different teams, but it is hoped ! that as many as eight prospective t teams will be presented.
