Mias Lucy Kittrell was speaker of the evening, and had as her topic, “Reverence in Worship." Mtoi Kittrell declared that there was somewhat a question of a good habit in being reverent and as she wax speaking to young girls and boya she maintained that insomuch as they were young they have the privilege of choosing good habits or evil habits. RALLY HELD ALL DAY SUNDAY Large Attendance at Union Chapel, With Several Addresses An all-day rally of Sunday schools of the Methodist Protestant churches in the city and county wa.s held yes terday at Union Chapel on the Ra leigh road, and was largely attended. Most of the churches are understood to have been represented, with very interesting sessions held. In the forenoon there was a meet ing which was addressed by Rev. J. W. Braxton, pastor of a group of rural churches, and H. C. Wiiite. Din ner was served on the gruunds in the large grove at the church In the aft ernoon Jasper B. Hicks spoke on the work of the General Conference in Columbus, Ohio, which he attended as an official delegate from this State and wrorn which he returned only last week.
