Wesley Class Has Regular Meeting The Wesley class of the Methodist Episcopal chmch held its regular monthly business meeting Tuesday evening at the home of Mrs..-, Fer queron on Clarke street, with Mes dames Faris. Curring, Ellis and Fur* queron as joint hostesses. Tiie meeting was presided over by Mrs. T. B. Rose, Jr., president, and devotional exercises were conducted by Miss Sallie Garlick. Good reports were turned in by all of the committees. Seventeen mem bers answered to thfe roll call with two visitors. At the conclusion of the* business session, a very delightful social hour was enjoyed during which the host esses served an ice course. Plans Are Pushed For Charity Ball Plans are progressing for the stag ing of the charity ball which i 6 being sponsored by the Rotary Club of this city, and is under the direction of the Community Service Committee of the club, of which W. H. Fleming Is chair man. It was stressed today that this ball wiyi be Ja community •undertaking with all civic and other organiations cooperating with the Rotarians. It was said that all the proceeds of the ball will be used for local welfare work in this community during the coming winter. The date and place have not been decided by the committee as yet. but it was said that the ball would be held before schools in this vicinity open for the new year. Negotiations are already under way for the music, and an announcement will be made in the near future giv ing the full details as to the place, time and music. Miss Vail Bride Os George C. Fox In a ceremony of charm and sim plicity, Miss Mary Caroline Vail and George C. Fox were united in mar riage at two o'clock in the afternoon of last Saturday in the Methodist Episcopal church in Windsor. The vows were said before Rev. T. W. Lee, the pastor, in the presence of a few relatives and friends. The ring cere mony was- used. Appropriate music was given by Miss Margaret Vail. sister of the bride. The bride entered on the arm of her uncle, W. A. Swain, and was met at the altar by the bridegroom and his best man, Philip Waters, cousin of the bride The bride waa becomingly attired In an ensemble of beige crepe, with harmonizing acces sories. Her corsage was of sweetheart roses and valley lilies. Mix Fox is the sister of James W. Vail, of Mare Island, California, and received her education at the Florence high school and the Florence Univer sity of Business, in Florence, 3. C. The groom is the son of Mr. and Mrc. R. E. Marston, of Henderson, and is connected here with the Henderson Furniture Company. After a wedding trip, the couple will make their home at 553 Rowland street, Henderson. Miss Stewart Is Bride Ohio Man A marriage of much interest to friends of the couple here and else where waa solemnized at 11 o'clock this morning in the home of the bride's mother, when Miss Tgmpe Stewart, daughter of Mrs. Alice Eliz abeth Sewart and the l&te W. H. Stewart, of near Manson, in Warren county, became the bride of Frank B. Hunt, of Cleveland and Norwalk, Ohio. The wedding vows were pro nounced by Rev. P. D. Woodall, pastor of the bride and the Middleburg cir cuit of the Methodist Episcopal church. For the ceremony, the living room was attractively decorated with ferns, ivy and garden flowers. Tall candled in silver holders cast a soft glow over the room. The bride was smartly at tired In a three-piece semi-tailored brown ensemble, with beige galac fur trimmings. Accessories of brown com pleted the costume. Mrs. Hunt was educated at Fred ericksburg College, Fredericksburg, Va. The groom is the son of the late Dr. and Mrs. W. A. Hunt, of Cleve land. He is now located- in Norwalk, where he is in business. Immediately after the ceremony,: which was attdhded by only a few members of the family.
