Jr. .of Raleigh, met at the home of Mrs. J E. Rooker. Jr. From there the church officials went to the local Presbyterian church where the con ference swung into order at 11 o’clock. Lunch was served at the Parish House at 1 o'clock by the local auxi liary and after an afternoon session the meeting adjourned at 4 o'clock Following is the program which was arranged for the meeting; Welcome. Classes Will Have Home-Coming Sunday Morning The two adult classes, for men and women, in the rirst Methodist Sunday school plan for a home-coming event tomorrow morning at 9:45 o clock dur ing their class hour in the men's class room Rev. CORINNE PARKER SOCIETY TO MEET The Cotrnne Parker Missionary So ciety of the First Baptist church will meet Monday afternoon at 4 o'clock in the church, with Mrs. R. H. Haw kins, Mrs. G. S. Webb and Mrs. J. G. Robinson as joint hostesses. Caleb and Joshua were bold enough to bring , n a minority report. They saw the difficulties the others had reported but they also 'saw God their helper and challenged the people to go on to victory through faith.
