Assuring the Mayor’s Presence
Saving heard of the financial difficulties of Chicago’s municipal govern
ment, Jane Frohman and Betty Adler wanted to be sure of Mayor
Termak’s presence at the World Fair next year. So they presented him
*rith the first of eight hundred million certificates which can be used at
} -he Fair in place of money. The certificates will be distributed to mer
chants throughout tin- country to be nassed on to their customers.
