read: entitled:
“AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING
$5,063.63 STREET LIGHTING
EQUIPMENT BONDS”
The City Council of the City of Hen
derson do ORDAIN:
Section I.—That the City of Hem
derson, pursuant to Local Government
law 1933, Article 26, Consolidated
Statutes 2,938, issue its bonds to an
amount not exceeding $5,063.63 for the
purpose of installing Modern Street
Lighting Equipment on Garnett
Street from the intersection of Church
Street to Spring Street.
Section 2. —The maximum aggregate
principal amount of said bonds to oe
$5,063.63.
Section 3.—That a tax sufficient to
pay the principal and interest of t'ne
bonds shall be annually levied and
p, collected.
Section 4. —That a statement of the
: debt of the City has been filed with
; the Clerk and is open to public in«
spection.
I Section 5. —That this ordinance
1 shall take effect thirty days after its
first publication, unless in the mean
time, a petition for its submission to
, the voters is filed under the Munici
-1 pal Finance Act (which petition shall
; be in writing and signed by the vot
ers of the City of Henderson equal in
1 number to at least 25 per cent of the
total number of registered voters in
