The Van Dyke Book Store begs to state that it ha secured a limited number of copies of the book which will be disposed of at 50c per copy. Louise, the heroine ol the book, is a charmino- creation o a North Carolina girl; and her inter estmg mother is a woman of "th nl, school." The characters are all wel drawn and it is a very pleasing anc entertaining story. This will be tlu only chance to obtain a copy of this work, as only a few copies were print ed before the publisher, himself t North Carolinian; failed in New York for $475,000 in 1899. 2t.
