Shuford returned last night from New Bern, where he par ticipated in the institution of Sudan temple, which was opened in a way to leave an impression on the thousand or more shriners who attended from North Carolina and Virginia. Two mammoth banquets, said to he the largest ever placed before a body of high Masons, were served by New Bern Shriners, and 128 candidates were initiated during the session. Mr. W. S. MEET IN REFORMED CHURCH SATURDAY The class of children will meet in the Reformed church next Saturday, tomorrow, for catechetical and Bibli cal instruction at three o'clock.
