Three copper stills and complete outfits have been located ar.d destroyed by Sheriff Triplett and his assi.it mts since Fri- av. The first stul w.is ot aDouc no- tialion capacity ana was m um-'"""j Sheriff Triplett was accompanied on this raid by deputy John Walsh and F. T. Sherrill. When Sheriff ap prrpched the still, two men were seen making hasty getaways. Seventeen stands of beer were destroyed and four gallons cf whiskey captured. The second still was smaller. It was of only 50-galIen capacity. This was c-iritured Surday night by Sher iff Triplett and Deputy Walsh, who were accompanied by Robv Gilbert of this place, and Post Clark, of Adako. The still was located on the hend of Frarklin creek about five miles from Ccllettsville- Two buckets and two tubs of beer were -destroyed. The third still was 80 to 90-gal-lon capacitv, and was in operation when found' by the officers cn Tues day evening. Two or three men were seen at the still.
