Bishop Coleman a Busy Man While
Here-AU the Services Well Attend
edA Class of 15 Confirmed.
The mission at Grace
Church, conducted by Bishop
Coleman, of Delaware, closed
last Sunday night, when a
class of 15 was confirmed.
Bishop Coleman while here
was untiring- in his labors for
the cause of Christ, sometimes
conducting seven or eight ser
vices a day something a lit
tle remarkable for a man of
his age sixty odd years. He
is a plain though forcible
speaker and at times eloquent.
The services for men at the
Court House last Sunday
evening was well attended
as, in fact, were all the ser
vices during the meeting
and we do not believe there is
a man who was present at this
service who does not feel that
he was benefited by having-
heard the talk by Bishop! Striped DimityS,
Coleman.
A number of Episcopalians
from other, towns attended
the mission. Bishop Horner
and Maj. Weston were here
during the latter part of the
meeting.
All are glad that Bishop
Coleman came and his visit
here no doubt resulted in
much good to the community
in general.
We have been furnished
with the following record of
attendance at the services
during the mission: Atregu
lar church services 3354,
children'sservices 1238, Court
House (women only) 150, Court
House (men only) 400, State
Hospital 200, D. & D. School
200, tannery 110, sash and
blind factory 31, cotton factory
