Bishop Coleman left Mon day for Charlotte, accom panied by Rev. C. Satterlee. Miss Edna Beach went to Statesville this week to visit her sister Mrs. Will Bailey. We hear with regret of the death of Mrs. Bowers, mother of Mr. Georg-e Bowers, which occurred the first of Bridge water. Mr. A. A. Connelly is pre paring to go into the mercan tile business.
