RACKET STORE
THE GREATEST BARGAIN HOUSE OF
RALEIGH AND THE WORLD.
We are not always marking our lcooiIs
down as some do. We mark do n but once
and then our troods sell, as we mark, many
below cost. In t lie first place, that is less
than it cost to produce them. We don't buy
onr goods from drummers running all over
the United States at a co.-t of ten dollars per
day selling their goods on four months'
credit, charging two prices for them. We
buy for cash and from such houses as are
compelled to sell at our prices. These houses
that are always marking goods down must
mark very high in the first place, and if
they can't get that price they will continue
to fall and get the biggest price they can.
The Racket don't do that way. If we buy
goods for one half what they are worth, we
sell them to our customers at one half with
our per cent added. This week we will offer
some big bargains in Calico at 4c a yard up:
Lawns 3VJc up; Dress Buttons one half
price; our mosquito net is nearly gone at
JOc a net.
Just received, some bargains in White
Dress Goods; also in Ilamburgs and Laces.
We will open some new goods in our Milli
nery Department and Gents Straw Hats,
besides many other things, this week.

Gentlfmex: I have sold your "Home
Fertilizer" for several years, and find it
gives entire satisfaction wherever used. I
have used it myself on my farm, and can
say, if people would only take the time to
mix it, that it is one of the cheapest fertili
zers used and is as good, if not better than
many that cost much more. Mr Francis
Darker, who buys some from me every year,
says there is no better and he doesn't care
for any but 'Home Fertilizer," if he can
always get it. Hoping that all who use fer
