Scrofula of Lungs Relieved. 1 am now 49 years old, and have suffered for the last fifteen years witb a lunu trouble, tieveral members of the family on my mother's side of .he honse had dxed with consumption, and the doctors were all agreed in their opinion that I had consumption also. I had all the distressing symptoms of that terrible dnease have spent thousands of dollars to arrest the march of the disease 1 have employed all of the usual methods, not only in my own case, but in the treatment of other members of my family, but temporaly relief was all that I ob tained. 1 was unfit for any manual labor for several years. By chance 1 came into posses sion of a pamphlet on "Blood and Skin Dis ease," from the oifice of Swift Specific Co., Atlanta, Ga. A friend recommended the use of Swift's Specibc claiming that he himself had been greatly benefitted by its use in some lung troubles. 1 resolved lo try it. About 4 years a$o I commenced to take tt« S. S., according to directions. 1 found it an invigorating tonic, and have used about fifty bottles. The results are most remarkable. My cough has left me, my strength has returned, and 1 weigh sixty pounds more than 1 ever did in my life. It has been three years since 1 stopped tbouseof the medicine, but have had no retnrn of tbe dis ease, and there areno pains or weakness felt in my iumrw, 1 do the hardest kind ol mechani cal work and feel as well as 1 ever felt since I was a boy. These, 1 know, are wonderful state ments co make, but I am honest when I say that 1 owe my oxipfenco and health to-day to Swift's Specific* It is the only medicine that brought, me any permanent relief. I do not say that bwift's Specific will do this in every case, but most positively aOirm that it has done this much forme, and would be recreant totke duty 1 owe to Buffering humanity if I failed to bear this cheerful testimony to the nierita of this wonderful medicine. 1 am well known in the oity of Montgomery, and can refer to some of tke best citizens in the city.
