sounds as they have in the words which are
given here as examples. If you learn the sound
(a) gah, rabbit. (ao) daolghe, they're called, (k) kin, house.
(aa) saad, word. (aoo) ’aoo’, yes. (k’) k’ad, now.
(q) sq, old age. (oi) deesdoi, it is hot. (I) Iq’f, many.
(qq) naadqq', corn. (b) baah, bread. (t) tq, much; many.
(e) dibe, sheep. (ch) chidf, automobile. (m) mq’jj, coyote.
(ee) 'azee’, medicine. (ch’) ch’il, plant. (n) ni, you.
(§) doohgs, it will itch. (d) dine, man. (s) sis, belt.

to read Navaho; it is written just as it sounds.

ENGLISH SUMMARY
1. A review of some of the events that led up to the
opening of off-reservation school facilities to Navaho
children, and an announcement of the facilities that will
be available this coming school year.
2. Through the efforts Arizona's congressman Harless
surplus commodities will be made available to needy Na
