ARE YOU A VETERAN?
If you are a veteran of the last war you probably have
some money coming to you. If you were in the Armed
Forces, you carried National Service Life Insurance. Some
money was deducted from your pay each month to pay
for this insurance. Now the Government is going to give
back some of that money you paid in, because more money
was paid in than was needed.
Even if you dropped that insurance since you left the
Armed Forces, you still have money coming for the period
of time during which you carried it, provided you had it
at least three months.
You will not get this money that is coming to you unless
you send in a special paper on which you apply for it. On
this paper you fJut your name in exactly the same way as
you wrote it while you were a soldier. Also you put the
number you had as a soldier. You will find that number
on your discharge in case you have forgotten it. You can
get this application form at qhy post office.
It is thought that most veterans will get about $175.
You must act at once to get this money. Don't put it off.
Get an application form today, fill it out and send it in.
They will start sending out the checks in January.
