"Ten lectures on banking have-been
carefully prepared. one for each
month of the school year, starting
with next September," Mr. Puelicher
related. "The banker -nearest the
school is to deliver the lectures to
the 1th and 8th grades of the com
mon school, to the high school and
the college. He will simply refer to
the outlines for ideas and background
localizing the story, using illustrations
and incidents familiar to the children.
"He will show them specifically
what banking is, telling them about
its origin and its purpose in bur com
mercial scheme. Then. after two or
three visits the banker will invite the
school children to the bank and per
mit them to visualize that which has
been talked about.
"The lecture outlines have been
sent to the superintendents of public
