Wil liams, Jr., Trombonist with Lou is Armstrong 's Band. Home on leave visiting his parents on their 32nd Anniversary. Cele brating lisfao is Mjrs. Aa'ron Jones, a very well-known sing er with a very fine voice. The Ink Spots with Ella .Fitzgerald did a splendid job during their week-end date at the State Theatre, here in Hart ford. Features like that are alwaj's enjoyed and appreciated by the city of Hartford, and for you folks who may not know, drop in at E. M. Loew's Thea tre and get a load of "Dusty" Fletcher in a featured short based on his song, ''Open The Door, Richard". Don't forget to try and catch Hazel Scott, (I'm sure you know who I mean) on Tuesday evening, March 18th at the Bushnell Memorial. Treat your self to real treat of piano play ing done in an artistic manner by a real artist. You have seen her on the screen, heard her on the radio and records, now see her in person on the stage at Bushnell. . Don't forget to attend the amateur shows at the Daly Theatre each Thursday nite, and applaud for your favorite entertainer. The winners re ceive a cash prize and a trip to New York City for an audi tion regarding a professional try-out. . Don't forget the RED CROSS they are on hand at all times, regardless. Ro binson, of 16 Pliny Street. Mr. and Mrs. Robinson were married at Poughkeepsie, New York, in 1897, by theh Rer. Philip M. "Waters, of the Washington Street A. M. E. Church. They have been residents of Hartford for nearly fifty years. Mrs. Robins on is 75 73 and Mr. Robinson is 75 years of age. Many friends joined in wishing them many more years of happy wedded bliss.
