With the removal of OPA price ceilings, most meat deal ers throughout the country are paying substantially more for vitally needed used cooking fat. OBITUARY Betty Davis, Accident Victim Funeral Held Betty Davis, the 5 year old daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Iv ory Davis, of 307 "Windsor St., was killed Monday, March 31, by a truck in the congested area of - "Windsor Street. Be sides her father and mother, she leaves a grandmother, Mrs. Emma Ilarrell ; two aunts, Mrs. Edora Deamorn and Mrs. Bar bara Gomes; one uncle, Bis mark Harrell ; one cousin, Mrs. Thomas Walker, all of Hart ford; and great grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Francis Harrell of Marianna, Florida. Funeral services were held from the L. B. Barnes Funeral Home, 2148 Main St., and the Bethel A.M.E. Church, Thurs day, April 3 at 1 :30 p. m. Rev. D. D. Davis conducted the ser vice. The bearers were: Stan ley Woodson, Robert Camby, Robert Jones, and Roy Carter. Burial wsa in Northwood Cem etery, Wilson. Rev. Davis con ducted, the committal service. Frederick C Miller Frederick Cornelius Miller, 4,- infant son of Mrs. Annie Miller of 226 Bellevue St., died at the Hartford Hospital, Wed nesday morning. Besides his mother, he leaves a sister, Miss Frances Miller, two brothers, Edward and Ralph Miller; a great-aunt and uncle, Rev. and Mrs. William C. Pittman, all of Hartford. The funeral was held Sat urday, April 5, from the L. B. Barnes Funeral Home, 2148 Main St., with services at the Mt. Olive Baptist Church, at 1 p. m. The Rev.. G. S. Clark officiated. Bearers were : Ru dolph Knight, Willie Brown, Rudolph Proctor, George How ard, Jasper Jenkins, and Gar field Gambles, Jr. Burial was in Northwood Cemetery Wil son. Rev.
