The census bureau, Department of Commerce, has issued a re vised statement concerning the population of the United States as shown by the enumeration, made in 1920, particularly as it affects color or race. The figures given show a total population on Janu ary I, 1920, of 105,710,620, as was stated in the department bulle tin of June '4th. The distribution among the different races, resi dent of continental United States, is but slightly different trom the first repnrt.
