Funeral services were held at 2 o'clock this afternoon at the Pres byterian church in Milan with Rev. W. G. Oglevee of the South Park Presbyterian church, Rock Island, offlciatlng. Interment was at Chip piannock cemetery. The pallbearers were William Dixon, James Dixon, Henry Dib bern, Ira Zahn, Wilson Matthews and G. R. Sydnor. M. C. A. industrial and scenic moving pic tures at factories In the city dur ing the noon hour of the employes has been arranged by the local a-s-sotiation. This noon. A. D. Her mann, secretary, showed the films at the Phelps Motor company plant. On Tuesday they will be shown at the factory of the Rock Island Manufacturing company. The two films this week are pic tures taken In the Hawaiian islands and in the Yosemite valley. I The pictures are shown with the new lantern recently purchased by ' the Y. M. C. A. Arrangements have been made to secure a dift'er- ! ent set of films each week from the ' i national association. These will be oq industrial or scenic lines. They 'will be shown at the Y. M. C. A. and on several days a week they will be shown to the employes of 'workshops and factories. I. The lantern has been paid for by ! contributions from the factories ; where the films are to be shown. American Legion News 'The executive committee of the American Legion meets today at 12:15 at the Rock Island club.
