To express to our friends in Rock Island and adjacent territory our sincere appreciation for the continued and in
creasing business entrusted t6 our care, which has made possible the substantial growth in the business of this bank
during the past twelve months. We j trust that by strict adherence to the policy adopted by our institution at
the time of its organization in V920 to put forth every legitimate effort consistent with sound banking principles
to serve the people and business of this city and adjacent banking territory m a manner which would tend to up
build our community,, making, it a more prosperous and suitable locality in which to live and transact business, and
that with the assistance and cooperation of those business institutions and citizens of Rock Island whose policies
and aims are for similar accomplishments, we will before the close of 1 923 cause to be recorded. in the pages of the
