Sold Poor Milk. In the court of Po
lice Magistrate Gustafson yesterday
forenoon Lane Bros., restaurant pro
prietors, pleaded guilty to a charge of
selling milk, the grade of which was
below the standard set by law, and
were fined $10 and costs. Information
filed by the city attorney against Lane
Bros, was the outcome of a recent test
made of milk samples gathered from
various restaurants'. At that time milk
sold by Lane Bros, was found to con
tain a smaller percentage of butter fat
than is called for by the statutes.
