of local Improvement! this morning
because property owners. In the In
volved projects presented petitions
from the majority objecting against
the measures. They Include the plans
for the paving of Forty-fourth street
from Seventh to Fourteenth avenues,
the laying .of sidewalks between
Twenty-second and Twenty-third
streets on Tenth avenue and the lay
ing of a sewer along Eleventh avenue
between Seventh and Ninth strets.

ed to at a former hearing when less
than half of the property owners
signed a dissenting petition. The ad
dition of K. II. Guyer's signature to
the objection gives those who re
agaltint the Improvement at this time,
a majority.
