The standard remedies for all diseases of the lungs are Schenck's Pulmonic Syrup, Schenck's Seb Weed Tonic, and Schenck. s Mandrake Pill,s and if taken before the lungs are destroyed, a speedy cure is effcted. To these three medicines Dr. J. H. Schenk, of Philadelphia, owes his unrivalled succss in the trentment of pulmonary disease. The Pulmonic Syrup ripens the morbid matters in the lungs; nature throws it off by easy expect oration, for when the phlegm or matter is ripe a light cough will throw it ff, the patient has net mid the lungs begin to heal. To enable the pulmonic syrup to do this, Schenk's Sea Weed Tonic must be freely nsed to cleanse the stomach and liver. Schenck's Man drake Pills act on the liver, removing all obstruc tions, relax the gall bladder, the biie starts freely and the liver is soon recieved. Schenck's Sea Weed Tonic is a gentle stimulant and alterative ; the alkali of which it is composed mixes wi:h the food and prevents soBring, It as sists the digestion by toning up the stomach to a healthy condition, so that the food and the Pul monic Syrnp will make good blood; then the langs heal, and the patient will surely get well if care is taken to prevent fresh cold. All who wish to consult Dr. Schenk, either per sonally or by letter, can do so at his principal office corner of Sixth and arch Sts., Philadelphia, every Monday. Schenk's medicines are sold by all druggists throughout the country. TELEGRAPHIC. TeUgraphtd to the Rocklsland Argtii. EXTRA SESSION OF THE SENATE Washington, March 14. Washington Gossip W ashington, March 14. Ex-Senator Robertson, of South Carolina, and Cong ressman Vrallace called ou the president to-day, protesting against Senator Patter son's proposition for a new election on the ground that the substantial and industrial interests of South Carolina would be materially damaged by such election: that none of the Republican members from that state had been consulted on the sub ject and therefore it was in the nature of an independent proposition on the part ot Senator Patterson, stimulated, perhaps. by Wov. Chamberlain. Mr. Robertson stated that a solution of South Carolina complications could be accomplished by more simple means, namely, the with drawal of troops from the state capital, when the people themselves would adjust the dimculty.
