Con krite, who is in Springfield, stating that the supreme court had reappointed him as one of the judges on the appellate bench in Chicago. This comes without solicitation on the part of Judge Bailey and is a high honor to him. When Jan uary comes again he will have been in the appellate court eight years, he having been appointed as the successor of Juilije Healon, who died in January, 1877.
