vision company, Fowler's and N. H SH
beihora's packing houseR, to the number
of three thousand men. went out on 1
strike this morning because the employ
crs would not take down the notice of
resuming ten hours for a day's work,
commencing October 11th.
It is expected that before nightfall
fully 20,000 men of the various packing
houses in Chicago will be out on the
strike. Serious trouble is expected.
