AT THE PHOTOPLAYS 'i Melodrama At the Ventnor Theatre today is a drama suggesting that hap V piness is not to be foupd in the luxurious homes of the million aires any more than in the sordid tenement houses of the bowery. The film is “Eastside-Westside” and is » a bold reproduction of realism, exposing the artificial lives of the wealthy and the miserable existence of the poor. Scenes of gorgeous ballrooms, sparkling with the luster 6f jewels and tinkling with the sound of wine glasses are vividly con trasted with the laborer and his family eating their plain food from broken crockery. It is a play that gives the poor tolerance for the rich and the rich sympathy for the poor. A delightful drama with a moral in clear view is “Enlighten Thy Daughter,” the feature at the Central Theatre tomorrow. Zena Keefe, Ruby dDeRemer and James Morrison are the stars in this instructive as well as en lightening photoplay.
