Harris Details The Possibilities of Brigantine H. G. Harris, prominent real tor of Ventnor, before a large lody of real estate brokers in the Morris Guards Hall, Tuesday evening, delivered an address on the possibilities of Brigantine Beach as a future seashore re sort. Mr. Harris also gave a de tailed account of the work now being done upon the adjacent is land by the Island Development Company. The general development will be along the lines of Miami Beach which has been studied by a delegation of Atlantic City men who went there for the ex press purpose of using that place as a model. A bridge will be constructed, connecting Atlantic City with the neighboring island. A boulevard, eighty feet in width and lined with rows of weeping willow trees and hand some homes will also be built. The estimated cost of such de-' veiopment was quoted by Mr. Harris as being in the vicinity of two and a half million dollars. Mr. Harris also said that the congestion of Atlantic City is making expansion necessary and that Brigantine Beach is ade quate and ideal to handle this overflow of resort population. The island is described as having picturesque bays and inlets, fine bathing beaches and as being close enough to Atlantic City to need no separate train service.
