Charity Ball Tickets Circulating Colony Club Dinner Dance at the Rita, December IS, to Hare Entertainment, Cards and Novelties By Ethel Rattay The members of the Colony Club in planning the most elabor ate function of the winter season are studying the pleasure of sub scribers from every sociable and pleasurable angle and the pro ceeds of the Charity Ball in the Trellis Room of the Ritz, Decem ber 15th, will be expended for Xmas baskets for deserving families. The prominence of the patrons and patronesses who are lending their assistance to the entertainment committee, of which Mrs. P. E. Kriebel is chair man, and the earnestness of the Colony Club members who are in one hundred per cent, attendance at the meetings to arrange for this delightful affair, assure a suc cessful' social evening. Mayor and Mrs. Almerin Marston, Mayor and Mrs. Edward L. Bader, Senator and Mrs. Walter E. Edge, Senator Emerson Richards, Mr. and Mrs. Godfrey Mahn, Mr. and Mrs. Fred Poth, Mr. and Mrs. Gillian Clamer, Mr. and Mrs. George Young, Dr, and Mrs. Thomas Youngman, Mr. and Mrs. Jack Wilkins, Mrs. J. H. Cramer, Mr. and Mrs. Albert Darnell are among the prominent citizens on the patron list who are interested in assisting the Colony Club in this timely activity. Many indi viduals desire to donate holiday goodies to needy families but hesitate to present gifts indis criminately. The members of the Colony Club are in touch with those in need of Xmas cheer, done up in the seasonable compli mentary colors, and a ticket pur chased for the gastronomic de light arranged by Mr. Swaboda, fir-"".. She is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Herman Gottlieb, of New York City. Mr. Grossman is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Max Grossman, of Bartram Avenue. Mr. Gross man is associated with his father in the conduct of the Kensington Carpet Company. Mr. and Mrs. David Grossman were married on Sunday, De cember second, at the Hotel Astor, in New York City, and are now en joying a honeymoon trip of several weeks’ duration.
