Conveniently located, with a railroad siding adjacent to the building, the Seashore Supply company buys practically all of its stocks in carload lots, which are recieved by both the Penn sylvania and the Reading raH roads. They carry all nationally advertised and standard articles in the general supply line. Twenty-seven persons are em ployed at present in the conduct of the tremendous volume of business that has been built up by this concern, and three trucks are constantly engaged in the delivery and hauling service of the concern. At the head of the business is W. J. Hepburn as general man ager. In no small degree, the remarkable success of the con cern is due to Mr. Hepburn’s experience, ability, industry and energy, coupled with his wide acquaintance in this particular line. He was formerly on the road engaged in the handling of this line of goods, and during his seventeen years’ experience he learned the business and the trade most thoroughly. When he founded the present company, he simply decided to capitalize his experience and acquaintance, and these have proved splendid investments for him and his as sociates in the undertaking. Mr. Hepburn is a Shriner, an Elk, and a member of the Rotary Club. He is also an active mem ber of the Episcopal Church, and is widely and favorably known.
