Matters of interest were discuss
ed. A motion was passed to adopt
new by-laws. The attendance prize
won by Mrs. Carrie Stauffer, was
donated by Mrs. Martha Collins.
Dainty refreshments were served.
The next meeting will be held at
the home of Mrs. Charles Horton.

to visit relatives. Thty arc expected
home again early in May.

Mr. and Mrs. Walter Morrison,
of Oakland avenue, are receiving
congratulations on the birth of a
son, January ol in the Atlantic City
hospital. Both mother and baby
are doing nicely. Mrs. Morrison is
the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Guy

The King and Queen card club

Hawthorne has been having a bus
iness meeting on the first Thurs
day of the month and a social on
the third Thursday. The order is
now reversed, the social being the
first, meeting and the business the
last.
