short address from Mrs. Edith Pop
lar.
A short musical program consist
ed of piano selections by Mrs. Mary
Risley; vocal solo, “In a Little
Spanish Town,” by Mrs.- Mildred
Ortlieb; a' harp selection, by Mrs.
Minnie Cramer; recitation, “It Is
Never Too Late to Bo Sorry,” by
Mrs. Helen Holdroyd; vocal solo,
“When Irish Eyes are Smiling,” by
Mrs. Mae Morris.
A full course Scotch dinner was
served al 7 p. m. Special guests
of the day were: Mr. and Mrs. Rob
ert Craig, of Atlantic City, and Mrs.
Ulbert, of -Riverside.

Mrs. Mathew A. Booker, of 115

prise dinner party hy members of

day night in honor of her birthday
which occured on Sunday. Mrs.
Booker was greatly surprised, the
members bringing ail the supplies
for the dinner with them. They
also presented her with a lovely
gift, in honor of the occasion.

on Noahs road, last evening, by
his wife, Mrs, Margaret Sapp.
The evening was spent in sing

was beautifully decorated with
pink anti white crepe paper. Favors
to match the decorations were
found at the table. In the center
of the table was a beautiful birth
day cake.

young folks returned.
