Hamp Grief, 4123 Heaubien St., and Max Favor. 447 Superior st.,. accompanied Greej to the Receiv ing Hospital, mid wet•• later ques tioned by &u asxistant prosecutor Fsiloeed By Man The witness*-* stated tha* they were in a contectionery store at Superior and Beaubien Streets when a woman entered and stated that ahe bad 1>- »n followed by a Rian from Beaubien Street and Canfield Avenue The two witnesses said that they went out of the store to search for the man As they emerged from the atore they saw a woman, who was walking east on Superior St . turn and fire a shot at a man who was close behind The man staggered to the mid dle of the street, and then fell. Grief and Favors took the man to the atore and called the police In the meantime, the woman who fired the shot had disappeared.
