Peerless Art Club Holds A Meeting The Young Women's Peerless Art club met Thursday, November 2, at the home of Mrs. R. L. Staf ford, on Warren avenue. The president, Mrs. Sadie Lind say, presided. Mr*. Josephine May, after calling the roll, read the min ute.s of the last meeting. Reports of committee chairmen were sub mitted, following which L. M. Hen drick gave an interesting account of the Association meeting of the Detroit Association of Women’s clubs, and the board meeting of the Michigan Association of Worn en’sTlubs. Later, Mrs. S. K. Straughn re ported on the second hoard meet i ig of the Detroit association. Mrs. Lindsay added a few remarks on the three meetings. Plans for the annual Christmas dinner are being completed. A post-Thanksgiving party is also planned for the last Saturday in November, at the home of Mrs. Rose Johnson, on Marston avenue. An auxiliary to the cluh was re cently formed.
