Tuesday night.... not by Clipper
plane, shiv, or private plane,...
hut thru the medium of shortwave
radio ...and believe me you, of all
the pretious visits so foreign lands,
that 1 have told you about... .this
was the most enjoyable one. It was
!* pm. Detroit time....and 3 am.

Celeste Cole Improving:
After Operation
Celeste Cole underwent an opera
tion last Saturday morning at Har
per hospital. She was reported
resting fairly well. Miss Cole Is
one of Detroit’s most outstanding
singers. Two weeks ago, she sang
in Grosse Points with the Michigan
Symphony Orchestra under Wai
te r Poole. Best wishes for a speedy
recovery to Miss Cole.
