Schemanske. They are Gene Adams, 22, of, 1 526 Polk. River Rouge; Ronald Gilliam, 24. oi 298 Frazier. River Rouge; and Kenneth Anderson. 29. now serving a sentence for irmed robbery in Jackson Prison. Police said the alleged trigger man. Joseph Kelly, 27, who fired five shots into Lipton's body is still at large, and being sought. He was re.cased from Jackson Prison through a "clerical error,” and fled. The fourth man in .no holdup slaying will be sentenced Aug. 9. O O * Louis Buckley. 40, of 3-27 East Congress, was sentenced to 10 to 20 years in Jackson Prison last week by Recorder’s Judge W. McKay Skillman. after he was convicted of second degree mur dei by a jury. Buckley is charged with the last March 9 fatal stabbing of Nathaniel Uare, 26. of 727 Green. Ware was dead on admittance to Receiving Hospital troin 722 Lieb, where both men had been attending a party. Homicide detectives said Ware had been playing the piano and slopped. He was asked by Buck ley to play another number, and an argument ensued between the two men when Ware refused say ing. "I am tired of playing,” at which time Buckley inflicted the fatal stab wounds. V H- V Francis Woods, 36. of 100 Clair mount, was placed on one year’s probation last week by Recor der’s Judge John A .Ricca after pleading guilty to acting us a piaeucal nurse without a license. Henry Earl Jones, 48. of 7423 Prairie, was placed on two years’ probation and assessed to pay MOO costs within a month last week by Recorder’s Judge Gerald W. Groat after he was convicted by a jury of making a false fel ony report. Jones reported that Sgt. Riley of the McGraw Station stole S3OO in cash from a dresser drawer in his home last March 24. Billie Merriweather, 20. of 2913 St. Antoine, was charged with larceny last week in a warrant signed by Recorder's Judge Jo- [ sepn A. Gillis. Merrieweather was arrested in a downtown department store after he walked to the cash regis ter, punched a key and removed $26 in bills from the drawer of the register. A store detective saw the youth and attempted to ask him about taking the money from the regis ter. A scuffle ensued which de veloped into a fight, and the money was scattered over the iioor among shoppers. Police arrived, place Merri-j weather under arrest and confis cated the stolen money. The officers quoted Merriwca-I ther saying: "It is foolish to do -■us because 1 am already on parole.” Police said Merriweather admit-! ’ed stealing a ring he had in his possession from another store. • • * Willis Sparks, 45. of 5432 Four teenth. was charged with arson last week in a warrant signed by Recorder’s Judge Joseph A. Gilhs. Sparks was arrested on the complaint of his alleged girl friend, Inez Broadnax, 44, of 5146 Brooklyn, who accused Sparks ot setting lire to her home in two places, alter she refused to admit him. Sparks denied the charges, lie admitted calling at the home of Miss Broadnax: "I just wanted to tell her the good news, 'that 1 might get called back to work, and would have some money to give her.
