Notice is hereby given that in
pursuance of Chapter 6, Title 32 of
the Revised Statutes of the United
States, the undersigned. The Oregt*
Basin Oil and Gas Company, a cor
poration oganized and existing under
the laws of the state of Wyoming,
with its principal office and place of
business at Cheyenne, Wyoming, by
Wilfrid O’Leary, its duly authorized
agent and attorney in fact, claiming
one quarter section or 160 acres of oH
placer mining ground known as the
“Cox Oil Placer Mining Claim,”
situate, lying and being in Park Coun
ty, Wyoming, has made application te
the United States for a patent for
said oil placer mining claim, which is
more particularly described as fol
lows:
Lots Three and Four (3 & 4) and the
Southwest Quarter of the Southeast
Quarter of Section Se
venteen (17), and Lot Four (4) of
Section Sixteen (16), Township fifty
one (51) North of Range One Hun
dred (100) West of the 6th P. M....
The notice of location of said
Cox Oil Placer Mining Claim
is of record in the office of the Coue
ty Clerk and Ex-Officio Register of
Deeds In and for Park County, State
of Wyoming, at Cody, Wyoming, te
Book No. 6 of Location Notice Re
cords at Page No. 248 thereof.
That said claim and premises, te
celher with the surface ground there
in contained and hereby sought to be
patented, is bounded as follows:
On the north by the Charity Oil
Placer Mining Claim;
On the south by the Firefly Oil
Placer Mining Claim;
On the east by State and Vacant
unoccupied Government land;
On the west by the Rufus OM
Placer Mining Claim;
Any and all persons claiming ad
versely to the said oil placer mining
claim and premises or any part there
of, so above described and applied
for, are hereby notified that unless
their claims are duly* filed according
to law and the regulations thereun
der, within the time provided by law,
with the Register of the United
States Land Office at Lander, Frs
mont County, Wyoming, they will bs
barred by virtue of the provisions of
said statutes.
