Supt. Horace Albright says that the coming season promises to be the biggest the Yellowstone Park has seen yet He believes the record will reach 100.000. In preparation for the increased tra vel, the Yellowstone Park Transpor tation Company will build a 1200,000 hotel at the lake, and it has already contracted for twenty new busses for which it will spend >IOO,OOO. The Yellowstone Park Camps Com pany will spend another >IOO,OOO on its permanent grounds. PAT O’HARA NEWS Mr. Oscar Thompson has recently returned from Mayo Brothers after successful treatment received there. Mrs. Edith Fields called at the Rie gel home last Sunday. The new Sunlight forest ranger, Mr. Chas. James, came out Monday iu a ear to the C anguet ranch, where rhe Sinlight stage met him and to)k 3:;n over the di ride next day. Several of our residents have seen a bunch of deer in the foothills. They are in very poor condition. Ed Brown was out calling on the neighbors the past week, taking school census. Mr. Joe Ganguet called on Ed Brown’s and John Nielsen’s laet week. Miss Dorothy Mathews returned from Powell last Saturday. Mrs. Wm. Weibel of the Big Ranch has been on the eick list the past few days. Miss Alice Bailey is help ing with the ranch house work. Several of the ranchers around here are back in the fields after sev eral days’ lay-off. The work Is pro gressing at the Ganguet ranch, the four Weibel brothers being good farm ers. Mr. and Mrs. Henry Slrrine finally made their way through to Crandel Creek, after quite a hard trip. A Cody woman with original ideas and not much money to spend tor pre sents this last Christmas, sent cans ot alfalfa honey purchased In Powell to her Eastern friends and relatives. She says that she never has sent presents which brought such enthusi astic acknowledgements as these In erpensive gifts. The recipients declared that they had never tasted honey with the same delicate and distinctive flavor. In support of their statement that alfalfa honey grown in Wyoming is different to and superior to any'other honey, the Italian government is ne gotiating tor the purchase of 100 tone of Wyoming honey through the presi dent ot the Bee eKepers’ Association ot Sheridan County. Also a New York exporter Is con tracting for 20 carloads ot the 1»22 crop of Wyoming honey. Three car loads have been exported this year. The Paxton-Colles Company ot New York have announced that .they will be in a position to handle any amount of alfalfa honey tor export purposes.
