GRUPP’S PLACE Specialty n —g RESOLUTIONS OF CONDOLENCE | Adopted by the Big Horn Lodge No. 36, I. O. O. F., at a regular meeting: held at the lodge room on Wednesday,! September 13, 1922. Again are our lodge members called' to mourn the death of one of its hon ored members. Brother Georg# Stan-, ley Russell, who passed away from \ earthly labors Friday, August 25,! 1922, aged 72 years, 10 days, after a lingering illness. Death knocked at his door and our beloved brother, counselloor and friend answered the great call. It Is difficult to find words to express our sorrow, or pay a fitting tribute to the memory of one who has rendered such I valiant service to the cause of Odd i Fellowship and humanity in general.’ For almost half a century he r’as an active Odd Fellow and labored with zeal and enthusiasm for the upbuild ing of the Order, and inculcating the ideals for which Odd Fellowship stands. His declining years were no bar to his activity, but whenever and wherever he could be of service to the cause he loved so well, he was ever ready to respond to duty’s call. Now his voice is stilled, that which was mortal rests beneath the sod, but his influence and many noble vir tues will linger, touching and better ing the lives of many duifng the years to come. Brother Russell was a Past Grand' Master and Past Grand Patriarch and Grand Representative, a member ofi Canton, Sheridan, Patriarch Militant, No. 5; Big Horn Lodge No. 36; Hart; Mountain Encampment No. 14; Olive 1 Branch Rebekah Lodge No. 17. He was secretary of our lodge at the time' of his death, he will be greatly missed in our lodge room and in all the so cial and business circles of life, in, which he was wont to move; now, therefore, be it RESOLVED: That we tender our heartfelt sympathy to the bereaved family of our departed brother and commend them to the Father of all Goodness for consolation in their great sorrow. He who has assured us that not even a sparrow falls without His notice, can alone heal the broken hearted and bring comfort in an hour like this; and be it further RESOLVED: That the charter of this lodge be draped for sixty days, in respect to the memory of our de ceased Brother, and that these reso lutions be inscribed upon the records of the lodge, and a copythereofbepre-' sented to the sorrowing family, and a copy presented to the local papers for publication. Life has its time for labor and forres t It is but short and fleeting at its best. The mark we leave behind us is more than all. It little recks how soon we get he call. Whether we will or not it matters less ’Tls not for us to answer no or yes, But calmly as the sunset comes ’tis given To go to sleep on earth and wake in heaven. (James G. Milstead Committe (J. E.
