was In tlio nature of a shower, as
Miss Norvell Is to bo one of our fall
brides. Dcautlful hand-mado artl
cles of every description were
showered upon (his popular young
lady. As the packages were opened
and cards were read. Miss Norvcll
responded with many very witty
sayings aswell as many a thank you.
During the afternoon delightful
selections were rendered by Mcs-
dames Illggs and Hoover. The serv
ing of Ice cream and cake was i
happy ending for this Jolly occas
