When I last addressed you, five decade of vears had come and gone since first, as a manager, I enleavored to cater for the rmblio's amuspn.pnt. nnil gratification. Think of the vast changes that have occurred in that half century of I years wht rapid s-irMe.i in commerce and civilization ; what startling innovations ; what wonderous inventions ! The nineteenth century has been prolific of wonders, and I ; have endeavored to keep pace with its gi gantic improvements, so as to satisfy and ' please an enlightbned and generous publie. The largest of the four Sea Lions weighed two thousand three hundred pound, and the smallest twelve hundred. At the same time there arrived from India the first and only J-lack Stimmatran Rhinoceros ever brought to lin.s country, of the enormous weight of three tons. A giant Ostrich, fifteen feet hi -ill, strong enough to carry two men upon Hh back, and then outstrip the swiftest run ning race-horse ; and I can safely say it is the first bird of its kind ever exhibited in the country. To properly present the grand array of novelties that ho has collected, requires great care it is an exhibition, the like of which may never again visit our State therefore Old John .Robinson, desiring to give everybody an opportunity of seeingthe Greatest of all the World's Fairs of Wonders, has eeterrtined to give timely notice, so that due preparation can be made by parties from a distance to visit this congress of all that is Wonderful in Art, and witness all that is rare, strange and curious iu the Ani mal World.
